Prepare for Transition

Four years of hard work is finally paying off. I’m beyond excited to begin a new chapter of my life as a Registered Nurse. A graduation celebration will be filled with tears of joy with my family and friends who have supported me throughout this journey. I’ve always loved helping others, which is why I’m eager to begin my new job. As any new graduate nurse, I have to admit that I am anxious to enter into the workforce. I will be working alongside the smartest people which can be intimidating. Every nurse that I have worked with truly amazes me, I cannot believe I will be transitioning into practice in less than six months.

As I’m preparing for the NCLEX my mind is filled with doubts, anxiety and excitement. Any Registered Nurse can attest to the anxiety that comes along with taking the NCLEX. It will be crucial for me to further develop my nursing knowledge in preparation for the NCLEX. I’ve set a realistic goal for myself in order to help me succeed as a nurse and pass the NCLEX. During my downtime, I will be reviewing past material twice per week for at least one hour. I will be doing this every week until the date of my NCLEX exam. This will allow me to refresh my knowledge on topics reviewed months to years ago. I’ve found that the more I review material, the better I understand it. After completing the Nurse Logic 2.0 quizzes I’ve found that I have forgotten old content which is why I developed a new study method in preparation for NCLEX.
